Another Busy Week

Date: 15th Jun 2017 @ 9:04pm

What a busy week we've had at school this week with preparations for First Communion; finalising details for Arts Week; a multitude of sporting and non-sporting clubs; a whole school finance audit and 4 football matches to name but a few!

The Year 4 and Year 6 children, with the help of the choir, are now ready for their special day. We are really looking forward to Saturday and the weather forecast looks good.smiley I can't wait to see your lovely dresses girls - and boys I won't recognise you in your smart outfits.

Arts Week is all ready to go. We have lots of exciting things planned and our celebration assembly will be a mix of music, dance and art. You'll have lots of fun children and I'm sure that you'll enjoy it as much as Science Week last year and Health Week the year before.

Football! What can I say. A huge well done to our Y5/6 girls' football team who beat Carr Mill Primary School in a friendly last night - winning 13-1!

Our Y5/6 boys' football team continued their winning streak with a 4-3 victory over Carr Mill. It was a very physical game and the victory was well deserved. My player of the match for this game was Shay who played with great determination - shrugging off lots of physical tackles.  Well done boys.

Mrs Hrabowenskyj continued her football education too and now knows that you can't shout for a penalty when the tackle is outside of the box laugh

Football matches continue tomorrow at Chapel End for the Y5/6 boys' team and a mixed team.
