Bob's Blog Health and Well-being week

Date: 24th Jun 2018 @ 7:22pm

Hello again, my lovelies!

Welome back to my final Health and Well-being week blog!

Everyone has had an absolute whale of a time this week, and I am sure that they all slept very well too, as it has been packed (like sardines) full of activities!

Here are a few pictures of what the children did on Friday (see below)

Y5 met the Healthy Living Team and learned all about the different food groups we should be eating; the quantities of each, and how much sugar we should consume in a day!

that we should only have 6 teaspoons of sugar per day!? That means that 1 can of coke is 1 teaspoon MORE than our recommended daily amount of sugar!!

BLIMEY!

The children also had a look at another healthy eating activity they will be taking part in next week- soup making! YUM! (Do they do soup for fish? I'm sick of these boring old flakes they keep giving me!)

Anyway, I digress...

The children and Miss Davies would like to thank Miss Barnes and Mrs Cotterill very much for all the hard work they put into organising such a special week for them, and for Mrs McCartney, Mrs Fowler and Mrs McDonald for all of their help this week, too!
