Reception News - 8th September

Hello everyone!

Wow, what a week! The children have been settling into school life and are well and truly finding their feet.

They are making new friends and learning to play together. I am so proud of how confident the children are; getting stuck into all the activities in our classroom; inside and outside. 

Some of the activities the children have been enjoying are,

the puzzles, bug hunting, painting, bird spotting, basket ball, role playing in the home corner and a firm favourite; the class computers. Well done everyone  (Photos to follow)

Today was another fantastic day. The children felt very grown up going up to the 'big playground' at playtime and they loved seeing their brothers and sisters and friends in Year 1 and Year 2. 

And I must say, I was very proud of the children at lunch time. They took it in their stride and tucked straight into their pizza and fish! Yum, yum.
