Shape Activities for Super Shape Detectives

Date: 3rd Jul 2020 @ 6:24pm

Hello Y1smiley

As usual, the home schoolers have been very busy.  To tie in with our summer topic of holidays, Jessica has been busy learning about lighthouses and writing postcards.  Georgia also made a lighthouse and shared that she has seen a real lighthouse on holiday with her family.  Scarlett amazed me with her spellings.  She got a full page of lined A4 paper full of really hard spellings, which have been sent home over the weeks, all correct!  Well done Scarlett!

These children have completed the most maths work in their Education City My Cities so far:

James Scarlett Matilda George Ewan Lucasyes

These children have also made a fantastic effort:

Jessica Sam Bobby Maddie Oliveryes

We learnt about 2d and 3d shapes a while before lockdown, so I have put some fun shape activities into your My Cities to remind you of the names and properties of all the shapes.

Good Luck
