STEM week

Date: 25th Jun 2019 @ 4:27pm

What a week we had already and it’s only Tuesdaylaugh

We started the week with a science show with lots of interesting facts and experiments. Today, we have had a Robot workshop.  We worked in teams of 3 to build a robot with a sensor.  To finish off the day we had a KS2 science quiz.  Each house had a represented from each class and Mrs Duffy was the super scientist quiz master.  Well done to Matthew house who were the winners.

The rest of the week has been just as exciting.

On Wednesday we have been to the Computer suite to research famous scientists and we used musical technology to compose a piece music.  We finished off the day by using the Lego and K-Nex models.

On Thursday we used junk modelling to create a mode of transport from the year 3000.   We ended the week with a celebration assembly.  We have all had an amazing week.

Reggie, Isla and Kiera said the best part of the week was the ROBO workshop.

Lexie loved the junk modelling and Joseph loved the science show the best.

Take a look at the pictures to see what we have been up to!
