Tree Planting - 3rd April 2019

We travelled by coach to Shoots Delph Farm where we were met by Stephanie from Mersey Forest.  She gave us all a spade and we had to dig deep holes, which was very tricky!  We then put Oak saplings in the holes and filled the holes with the soil we had dug up.  We covered the saplings with plastic cylinders so that no pesky rabbits could nibble on them.  As you drive from our school towards St Helens you can see the trees that we planted on the right hand side, just before Moss Bank!
