Come and See

We have finished our Belonging topic and we are ready to start out Advent topic of Waiting.

Maths

We have been naming, describing and sorting 2d shapes.  We are really good at naming and describing the simple ones but the pentagon, hexagon and octagon keep fooling us!

We are Special

We enjoyed watching a short video in class on Thursday called You Are Special by Max Lucado and we were very good at describing the story in our own words and thinking about the behaviour and feelings of the different characters.  This then led on to us pairing up with a partner and sharing things with each other that make us special.  We then enjoyed creating a piece of writing and drawing a picture about our friend, trying to remember all the things that make them so special.  We are going to put these into our own class book called 'We Are All Special' and we hope that it will be good enough to send for 'Good Work' in Friday's assembly, once it is finished.   Fingers crossed!
