Home Learning, Week 3, Day 4, 23rd April

Date: 23rd Apr 2020 @ 12:19pm

Good morning Year 1 and a big HELLO from your friends in Year 1 who are in school with me today.  We've got Jude, Theo, Lucas and Penny! smileysmileysmileysmiley

Did you know it is St George's Day today?  We are currently using tissue paper and the technique of scrunching to make England flags and after break we are making bunting ready for our St George's Day party this afternoon.  No doubt you will all be outside this afternoon enjoying this beautiful weather.  Just remember to use sun protection (and get you work done first! wink)   St George Cross Tissue Flag | Craft free, St georges day, Easy ...

So....how is your research on Blackpool coming along?  Have you managed to find out five, fascinating facts yet?  Well done to Daisy, Harry, Amelia, Alfie B, Jessica and Maddison who have all uploaded their fascinating facts onto Purple Mash.  It has been very interesting to read them and shows me what they now know about the seaside town of Blackpool.

Today I have set a couple of new 2Do's on Purple Mash, designing deck chairs and a fish, linking with our topic on holidays.  There's also chapter three of the story as well as two activities involving missing words and joining words.  Good luck!

Until tomorrow Year 1, stay home, stay safe and keep smiling!      How to spend your time to be happy
