Welcome back, Year 5!

Well, that Summer holiday flew by, didn't it?

It is so nice to see everyone's faces again after what was hopefully a very relaxing 6-week break!

I am sure you are all ready for another jam-packed year of new learning and fun...

The first week's theme is based on our 'Happy, Healthy Me' (PSHE) curriculum, and we have already explored how to Keep Safe in St Mary's, Core Values, our School Mission Statement and British Values to name a few.

The children have also written a letter to Mrs Evans to tell her all about them.

We have now chosen our School Councillors this year, who will be responsibile for the pupil voices of Year 5 for 'Health and Wellbeing', 'Eco' and 'Sports', and lots of monitor roles have been handed out in the classroom too.
