World Book Day 2023

We had a wonderful time celebrating this year’s World Book Day. In the morning, we read the story ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ by Drew Daywalt. We enjoyed talking about how the different crayons felt in the story and created some super writing in the style of the red crayon.

In the afternoon, we worked in groups to create our own 3D crayon characters based on Guy Fawkes, The Big Bad Pig and The Highway Rat. They are so good that they are going to be displayed in the hall!

Well done to everyone who took part in our home challenge creating a book character in the style of a 3D crayon. We were blown away by your creativity!
