Year 4 End of Year Blog

We have made it to the end of the school year! The children should be so proud of everything they have achieved this year!

We have had a lovely last week in school to celebrate the end of Year 4. We have investigated the effects of evaporation by creating puddles on the playground and observing how they shrink as they are heated (we were lucky that it was so warm at the start of the week!) and we created water cycles in bags to observe the processes of evaporation and condensation. At the end of the week, we watched The Water Horse with popcorn - all the children were amazed by how different the film was to the book. Finally, we had a Quiz afternoon on Friday.

It has been a pleasure getting to know all of the children this year and I am certain that they are ready for the challenges of Year 5!

Finally, we would like to say a huge thank you for your lovely cards, messages and presents. You are too kind!
