Journey in Love & R.S.H.E.
Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is taught throughout the year from Reception to Year 6. The core of our Relationships and Sex Education is delivered through 'Journey in Love', a curriculum approved by the Bishops of England, ensuring it is rooted in appropriate values and guidance. To support children’s social and emotional development, we deliver a personalised PSHE curriculum alongside the PATHS programme. Together, these programmes help children develop emotional literacy, build positive relationships, and support their overall mental wellbeing. The health education strand of RSHE is also delivered through our PSHE curriculum and further enhanced by Science and PE lessons, giving pupils a broad and balanced understanding of how to stay safe, healthy and active.
