St.Mary's Birchley PTFA
St. Mary's Birchley PTFA, welcomes all parents, teachers and friends of our school, who wish to help us with our fundraising throughout each school year. Everyone can become part of our team in planning, preparing and creating fundraising events for our children and their families.
This page will be used to keep you up to date with the latest news, events and initiatives that the PTFA would love for you to get involved with. Our main aim is to organise PTFA events help to raise vital funds, enabling us to enrich the school lives of every pupil at St. Mary's Birchley. We help to provide equipment, educational experiences and to buy specific items for the school by holding fundraising events throughout the school year. We definitely put the FUN into fundraising and are always looking for ideas.
From Reception through to Year 6, pupils within the school will benefit in some way from the funds we raise, so it is important for all of us to support the PTFA and get involved in any way we are able to.
We would really appreciate the support of you and your wider families where possible and for those of you who can give a little bit extra, we would be thrilled to see you at our next PTFA meeting.

Our Next Meeting

We warmly welcome everyone old and new to our meetings. Whether you can come to one meeting a year or all of them, your ideas and help are very much needed and greatly appreciated. The time we give to prepare and host events is invaluable and our events would not be possible without our volunteers. Our school community is always very supportive of anything we do.

What are we aiming for?
The PTFA are hoping to "be the best we can be" by raising more funds to develop the outdoor area in EYFS, to work alongside Eco-Council to grow fruit and vegetables, to create a tranquil prayer garden and to fund some school trips and educational experiences. All of your contributions make such a difference in what we can offer all of our children. We very much appreciate every donation and penny raised as it goes towards directly benefitting the children at St.Mary's.
We are still very much in the planning stages but throughout Spring, we hope to be able to start work on this project. Help from our school community will be called upon and we hope to make it something fun for everyone to take part in and be proud of.
So all you creative gardeners, outdoor-loving, community-spirited parents, gradparents, ex-pupils and friends; we want you to WATCH THIS SPACE where we will share more information on this soon.

GROW ST.MARY'S PROJECT
This year we will be getting our hands dirty to create a prayer garden for the whole school to access during their RE lessons and during times of quiet, reflection and togetherness. What better way to take time to be still, amongst nature within the school grounds. We hope this space will truly enhance the catholic ethos of the school, providing a more holistic education.
If you or anyone you know can help out with this project in any way, we would love to hear from you. We need materials and people to help us create and carry out the work that needs to be done.
