National Poetry Day 2026

Mrs Evans and the children celebrated National Poetry Day with an Assembly in which KS1 and KS2 shared poetry they had been learning on the theme of 'wonder'. The children recited poetry clearly and with expression! We were very lucky to have been joined by Fr Paul and Fr Dieudonne along with their visitor Fr Joe and Fr Marcellin who are currently visiting the UK from their home nations of the USA and Democratic Republic of Congo. Fr Joe even treated us to a poem about keeping hold of your dreams. It was a very special morning for us all.
