Pre-School at St Mary's

We are pleased to share the news that applications for our 8 place pre-school have opened from Tuesday 9th June 2026. Please find below the application form which will need to be returned to school along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of address.

We will be using the same criteria for admissions as for entry to Reception class which can be found here. We anticipate that the places will be filled quickly so the deadline for initial applications for September 2026 will be 4pm on Monday 15th June 2026. You will be informed if your child has successfully secured a place by Friday 19th June 2026.

Can my child access ABC (Breakfast and After School Club)?

Yes! ABC club will be available for pre-school children. The club starts at 7:30am and closes at 5:30pm.

What time will the pre-school sessions be?

Morning sessions will run from 8:45am – 11:45am. Afternoon sessions will run from 12:30pm – 3:30pm. There is an option for children to stay over dinner for an additional charge. Children can either bring a packed lunch or a school meal can be purchased.

Will my child be able to attend for 15 or 30 hours?

Both! We will be able to offer both 15 and 30 hour places. If your entitlement is 15 hours, you will be able to top up your child’s hours. Details of fees are on the application form.
